The latest Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro from Samsung are receiving their second software update in a month. This comes after their August 2022 release, and the updates improve device stability. Follow more updates on Hostspotnews.com
The Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro are the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic’s successors. They are the first to launch with Wear OS 3.5 and run on the One UI Watch platform. The need to release two updates for the new Galaxy smartwatches in quick succession may indicate inherent issues discovered after their release.
Both models do not charge as quickly as advertised, and they are slightly thicker than expected. Another issue that was observed was the D-Buckle Sport Band that came with the Pro model causing issues on some laptops.
The release of the updates represents Samsung’s response to some of the flaws discovered in the new Galaxy smartwatches. The latest update will benefit the SM-R900 (Galaxy Watch5) and SM-R925 (LTE version of the Galaxy Watch5 Pro). The new update is identified as R9xx0XXU1AVH6 and is being rolled out in stages across the regions.
The update is currently only available in North America. We anticipate that Samsung will quickly expand the rollout to other continents. According to Samsung, the update keeps the devices’ security patches from July 2022.
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro software updates will improve overall system stability and reliability. It also employs new stabilisation codes for watch operations, but the most recent update contains no new features.
