3 NYPD officers injured in machete attack near Times Square’s New Year’s celebration

According to recent reports, three NYPD officers suffered serious injuries in an attack close to New Year’s Eve celebrations. As a result of the public’s interest in the incident and desire to learn more about the officers’ conditions, all three of the officers are currently in critical condition after being attacked by a man brandishing a machete.

Speaking generally, the assault happened on West 52 Street Avenue around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, allegedly outside of Times Square on New Year’s Eve. If you’re curious to learn more about the culprit, he has been identified and is 19 years old. However, the suspect had a shoulder injury.

Speaking of the suspect, he has now been sent to a local hospital where his injuries are being treated. However, the NYPD and the joint terrorist task force have not provided us with any other information since their ongoing investigation. One of the cops has been dealing with a skull fracture and head wounds, while another is an eight-year-old who has been nursing a laceration.
