For those who are unaware, the second generation AirPods Pro TWS earbuds are Apple’s latest flagship wireless earphones. It comes with a slew of new features, including Spacial Audio, improved ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), and increased bandwidth connectivity. Apart from these internal changes, the AirPods Pro 2 retains a largely similar design to the original AirPods Pro, albeit with some additional polishing.
With the Apple AirPods Pro already being expensive, the company decided to launch the AirPods Pro 2 for the same price. However, this came at the expense of completely discontinuing the previous generation. As a result, the AirPods Pro 2 can be purchased for $249 USD. In other words, you won’t be able to find the original AirPods Pro for a lower price on Apple’s website.
Notably, while the AirPods Pro have been removed from Apple’s official website, the original model is still available in a variety of other stores. As a result, certain third-party retailers are selling the AirPods Pro for the same price as the AirPods 3, which costs around 179 USD.
