The Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra was alerted to the girls’ Instagram video that they had taken while on the premises of a shrine in Ujjain on Tuesday.
The Mahakal temple in Ujjain is under fire after girls were caught on camera combining Bollywood tunes with Instagram videos while on the temple’s grounds and inside its sanctum sanctorum.
The video upload on social media quickly gained popularity.
“I’ve given the SP and Collector the go-ahead to investigate the matter. It would not be acceptable to make any attempts to undermine someone’s religious beliefs, Mishra said.
A girl allegedly made the viral video while doing Jalabhishek at the sanctum sanctorum of the Mahakal temple. The other girl took footage while she was exploring the temple grounds.
The Mahakal Temple’s priest, Mahesh Guru, urged that the girls be punished when the video went viral because it was insulting and against Sanatan tradition. This kind of footage ruined the temple’s sacredness. See More: Yasmine Lopez Video Leak and Popular Photos Links to Twitter, Reddit, Wiki Biography, Income, Instagram, and Other Information
The priest added that the Mahakal Temple staff wasn’t performing their duties.
