Specification of Honor X40
The Honor X40 will have a curved OLED display with a centred punch-hole, according to the official teaser. The colour depth on the panel will be 10-bit. Furthermore, according to the brand’s render, the device’s top may house an IR blaster in addition to the secondary microphone.
Digital Chat Station, on the other hand, has revealed the handset’s design by sharing full-size renders. The images show the smartphone with a large camera ring on the back and volume and power buttons on the right side.
Despite its size, the ring contains only two cameras and an LED flashlight. Unfortunately, neither the leaker nor the brand have revealed the camera specifications.
However, Digital Chat Station has revealed some information about the display. According to him, the phone will feature a 6.8-inch custom-designed OLED panel supplied by a Chinese display manufacturer.

The screen will be curved on all four sides. It will support high-frequency PWM dimming, a peak brightness of 800 nits, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
So far, that is all we know about the Honor X40. According to rumours, the device will be accompanied by the Honor X40 Max. The new phablet is said to have a massive LCD screen, dual rear cameras, and support for 40W fast-wired charging.
