While still selling this series, the business has not yet introduced a replacement for its premium lineup. But it appears that the most recent batch of phones differs slightly from the launch variants in some minor ways.
Leica-branded Huawei P50 Pro
Recent days have seen the latest batch of Huawei P50 series appearing on the Vmall online store of the Chinese tech giant. The absence of the Leica camera lens logo on the back of the P50 series’ rear design is the only minor difference that can be seen in this image.
For those who are unaware, the Leica emblem was generally located beneath the camera module of the Huawei P50 series, but this has since been deleted in the latest batch of the high-end smartphones.
Leica and the brand’s partnership officially ended with the Huawei P50 lineup, the last smartphones from that line to carry the Leica logo.
The entry-level P50, high-end P50 Pro, and mid-range P50E will no longer ship with the Leica branding. The cost of the smartphone series remains nonetheless unchanged in spite of this adjustment.
However, the business had already launched its new imaging product, Huawei Imaging XMAGE, back in July 2022. This product would also have the distinctive Huawei Mobile Imaging logo.
