Hyundai receives 3,000 pre-launch reservations as the 2022 Hyundai Tucson begins to arrive

Hyundai Tucson will reveal delivery dates following the pricing announcement on August 10th. The new Tucson is offered with automatic 2-litre petrol and diesel engines. The diesel engine now comes with all-wheel drive. Premium and Signature trim levels are available.

When will Hyundai Tucson deliveries begin?

The new Hyundai Tucson will be imported as fully knocked-down (CKD) kits and assembled locally. Given the great demand, the pre-launch SUVs will most likely be delivered in stages. Hyundai will formally reveal the Tucson’s delivery date during the launch event; purchasers may anticipate the first Tucsons to arrive in early September.

Display and test drive vehicles for the Hyundai Tucson have begun to arrive at dealerships ahead of its August 10 debut. According to a recent document, the company has received almost 3,000 orders for the fourth-generation Tucson in just 15 days after reservations began.

The 2022 Tucson is estimated to cost more than Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available in Premium and Signature trim levels.

2022 Hyundai Tucson powertrains and features

Hyundai’s flagship SUV comes with two powertrain options: a 156PS 2-litre NA petrol engine and an 186PS 2-litre turbo diesel unit. The petrol engine is partnered with a standard 6-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel engine is linked with an 8-speed automatic transmission on both versions, which are available with an optional all-wheel drive (AWD) system in the top-spec trim level.

Hyundai’s 2022 Tucson introduces advanced driver assistance and active safety (ADAS) technologies in India. Adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, front collision warning, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are among the features available. It also has a panoramic sunroof, heated, vented, and powered front seats, and dual-zone air conditioning.
