JugJugg Jeeyo Box Office Monday: Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani’s film holds DECENTLY; adds Rs. 4.70 cr on day 4
Raj Mehta’s JugJugg Jeeyo, starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and Prajakta Koli, released in theatres on June 24, 2022, and grossed Rs. 8.75 crore nett on day one. Unlike other multiplex pictures this year, which were dead on arrival, the film earned a decent start at the box office. The film’s optimistic start on day one followed by a strong increase on Saturday and Sunday, with a Rs. 12 cr Saturday and an Rs. 14.75 cr Sunday, bringing the film’s weekend total to Rs. 35.50 cr nett.

The early projections for JugJugg Jeeyo were around Rs. 4.70 cr nett, which is a respectable performance for a multiplex picture catering to a niche demographic. The picture 45 per cent down from its first day, and while a hold of 55 per cent of day one is considered respectable,a better hold was expected for a quality opener like JugJugg Jeeyo. While the luxury multiplexes have maintained their foot traffic,the lesser malls have not fared as well. All eyes are on how the film does throughout the weekdays since this will indicate whether or not the picture can survive the second weekend. The film’s four-day total is roughly Rs. 40.20 cr nett, and it has already become the sixth highest-grossing Hindi film of the year in India, trailing The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Samrat Prithviraj, and Bachchan Pandey.
