The Suunto 9 Peak Pro is a new smartwatch that the Finnish smartwatch manufacturer Suunto has released onto the market. The smartwatch has a 43 mm case that is 10.8 mm thick and 64 g in weight.

The wearable has a 1.2-inch sapphire crystal display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. Titanium Grade 5 is used to construct the watch’s outer casing. The Suunto 9 Peak Pro, according to the manufacturer, has “more powerful chipset architecture that boosts performance to a new level while having the best in class battery life compared to similar-sized products on the market.”
The longest battery life of any Suunto watch to date is provided by the Suunto 9 Peak Pro, which has three battery modes: Performance, Endurance, and Tour. The battery can be used continuously for 21 days, for 40 hours in performance mode, for 70 hours in endurance mode, and for 300 hours in tour mode before requiring recharge. The watch can be charged up to 100% in an hour or for up to 10 hours of training in just 10 minutes, which is another nice feature.

Due to the fact that the watch is primarily designed for outdoor activities, it includes support for the Beidou, Galileo, Glonass, and GPS satellite systems and can connect to 32 satellites simultaneously for accurate location. The wearable can easily be worn while diving in deep waters because it is waterproof up to 100 metres.
Suunto includes its most recent version of its user interface (UI) with the smartwatch, offering 97 different sports modes. Additionally, there is a diving-specific snorkelling mode. Health features include heart rate monitoring, 24/7 activity tracking, sleep tracking, stress and recovery status, and blood oxygen monitoring.
Starting at €499 ($549 in the US) with a stainless steel bezel, Suunto offers the 9 Peak Pro in six variations at launch.
