Vivo introduced the V25 series of smartphones last month. The Vivo V25 5G and Vivo V25 Pro are the two models in the series. Following the launch, the V25 Pro model was officially approved for sale in India later that month, but the company has yet to make the V25 5G model available for purchase. It has hinted at the V25 5G’s Indian launch date and pricing. The Vivo V25 5G will be available in the second or third week of September, according to the report. The device is said to be available in two variants: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The base model will cost less than Rs 30,000.
Vivo V25 specifications and features
On its 6.44-inch AMOLED display, the Vivo V25 has a waterdrop notch. It supports Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. For security, the device has an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The device is powered by a dimensity 900 chipset, as well as up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It comes preinstalled with Android 12 OS, which will be covered by FunTouch OS 12. The battery has a capacity of 4,500mAh and can be charged at a rate of 44W.
The Vivo V25 has a front-facing camera with 50 megapixels and autofocus. The device’s backside camera module houses a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS. It will benefit from an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The V25 also has dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB-C connector. The device comes in several colours, including Diamond Black, Aquamarine Blue, and Sunrise Gold. The back of all three colour variants is made of fluorite AG glass, but only the blue and gold editions, like the V25 Pro, can change colours.
