In China, the Xiaomi CIVI series was introduced last year. The CIVI and CIVI 1S smartphones are part of the female-focused lineup. The company has released a teaser image. As can be seen, the CIVI 2 will have an appealing rear design. It appears that the company will soon release more teasers revealing the full design as well as key specifications.
Xiaomi CIVI 2 specifications and features
According to reports, the Xiaomi CIVI 2 will have a 6.56-inch OLED display, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. In terms of display design, it will have a curved edge display with a punch-hole in the centre.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset will power the CIVI 2. The original CIVI came with the Snapdragon 778G chipset, whereas the CIVI 1S came with the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset.
The SD7G1 SoC in the CIVI 2 will have up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. It will come pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system, which will be overlaid with the MIUI 13.
On the front of the CIVI 2, a 32-megapixel camera will be available. On the back of the phone, there will be a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera.
The device will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 67W charging capabilities. There is currently no information available on the cost of the CIVI 2.
