We are very sad about the death of Fountain Police Officer Julian Becerra. He died on Saturday night from injuries he got when he fell off a bridge. This tragedy has hit his family, friends, the whole Fountain Police Department, and the community he served so selflessly very hard. Julian Becerra was a brave and dedicated police officer who spent his whole life serving and protecting others. In 2014, he started working as a Security Technician for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
and then became an assistant sheriff. After that, he joined the Fountain Police Department, where he continued to do a great job. Throughout his career, Julian was known for being brave, committed, and always doing what he was supposed to do. Julian was on duty the night he died when he fell off a bridge and died. Even though first responders and doctors tried their best, he could not be saved. His family and friends were crushed when they heard about his death.

Julian was a good husband and father to his wife and two kids, a son who was 1 and a daughter who was 8. He loved his wife and children more than anything else in the world. He was also known for having a great sense of humor, a quick wit, and a smile that made everyone he met like him.
Julian Becerra’s death is a huge loss not only for his family but for the whole community as well. He was a hero in every way, and everyone who knew him will miss him very much. In the line of duty, he was brave and didn’t care about himself. This will always be remembered and respected. We are very sorry for Julian’s family and friends’ loss. We can’t even begin to understand how much pain and heartache they are going through right now.
We’re also thankful for Julian’s service and the things he gave up to protect and help our community. He will always be remembered as a true hero and a shining example of what a police officer should be. Even though this loss has made the Fountain Police Department sad, they are still committed to doing their jobs. Even though this terrible thing happened, they keep working hard to serve and protect the community. We appreciate their work and how hard they work to keep us safe.
